Workflow for Theatre & Surgery

Click on Menu bar and select Find patient option

Search and select Patient

Confirm Patient's existing details, select Contact type and go to Patient Summary

Go Procedures section from left pane, click on Add Procedure icon. Either select procedure from the drop down and click on Add selection or search button. Or search and select snomed for the procedure from the below box based on the Patient's Medical record (Make sure that you're adding or updating the procedure to get below flow properly)

After clicking on Add Theatre icon, it will ask "Would you like to add a new referral" , click on OK option to continue

Add the procedure details and click on Add Theatres icon and fill in all details of the procedure in the form and then Save the details

Select Theatre module from the Module section on the top bar on Patient Summary page

Go to Waiting list section and Search your patient added to the waiting list

Click on Book hyperlink to book theatre slot for the Patient

Select Theatre type, theatre location, available time slot and fill in the details about the Theatre slot for the Patient in that service and then Save

Take communication consent from the Patient and Save it

It will redirect to Pending admission page, click on Add to Ward link to admit patient in ward

Select Ward,select bed, add admission details of patient and save it

Go to index page and select Theatre module again

Go through a Recovery Nursing Assessment and answer all the section questions

End the assessment and Save it

Click on Cellma to go to home page and then Logout
